Happiness Isn’t Around the Corner. Happiness is the Corner - Shenandoah National Park

Updated: Jul 6, 2021

Finding yourself is a journey. it's not a straight line. People have travelled its before. There are some good advises out, but there aren't any clear directions, because everybody's path is different . It takes time. Who you are is shaped by your experience, your past, your present and your future. And that how your story begins...

Long weekend = Travel plans -> Motorcycles Freedom. But this time we are not alone.

Weeks of planning and praying to all god for fair weather conditions but things never go as planned. Nature is the most powerful entity. With rain looming we decided to leave later than planned. Journey started Saturday morning with the first pit stop at the rest area. For now, we have 5 riders and 4x4 for the ride. Loaded with fuel and food we started. Tricky part was how to keep the group riding in harmony and have the 4x4 on our tail. Long weekend made sure the highway was packed with vacationers. From six lane highway to 2 lane highway from speeders to law abiding citizens. Since we decided to have +1 on this trip, we had to maintain our speed and communication was the key. We all have Bluetooth communicators installed in our helmets that makes the ride so much more interesting. Subjects of our conversation are limitless. Once we reached Maryland, we decided to switch bikes and the rider became a driver. I switched my ride to Harley Davidson and the rain god got upset. We rode through the tunnel and on the other end were surprised waiting for us. Thunderstorms with raining hail. Visibility got worse; rain felt every drop like pellets hitting at high speed. Somehow, we managed to drive through the passing storm. Getting closer to our destination we decided to have lunch and get back on our original riding formation.
